Our first coaching conversation together is free.  It’ll help you to decide if A) coaching is right for you, and if so, B) if I’m the right coach for you (after all, there’s many great coaches out there).

you may like to ask me:

  • Why do I coach?

  • How exactly can I help you?

  • What’s my style and approach?

  • How many people have I coached?

  • What are my qualifications?

  • If you hired me, when do we start and how do we work together?

i’ll ask you questions including:

  • What’s made you curious about coaching?

  • Have you been coached before?

  • What other self-exploration have you done?

  • What do you want to achieve by working with a coach?

  • What’s your biggest challenge?

  • What’s your biggest opportunity? (They can be the same thing…)

  • What will it take for you to make this investment in yourself a priority?

  • How do you want to be coached?

And what I’ll really want to know is:

  • what you want to achieve by being coached

  • if I can help you, and

  • if you and I can form an effective partnership.

our ground rules:

Truth and honesty, always. If I think I can help you, I’ll tell you.  If I don’t think I can help, I’ll also tell you.

And depending on what you say, I may suggest that you see a different provider such as a consultant, counsellor, or therapist, or even a different coach better placed to help you.

But if I think I can help you, and we’ll be a good fit, then…

i’ll invite you to be coached by me

You either accept or not. There’s no sales pitch. You don’t need to decide immediately, either.  Take the necessary time (days, weeks, months, whatever).  It’s your decision, and your decision only.

If your answer is yes, email me at rowdy@rowdycrowther.com.

getting started:

Once you decide you’re worth the investment of time, money and energy, and the benefit too, I’ll send you a ‘welcome to coaching’ email. It’ll contain a link to our Coaching Agreement (which you can read now by clicking here).

You must read our Coaching Agreement, ensure you’re comfortable with it, and either email me a scanned copy of your signed agreement, or state in an email to me that you accept it.

We’ll then book in our first coaching call together

What’ll happen is, we’ll coach for 45 minutes.  If we can meet in person, great.  If not, we’ll connect via Zoom—an online voice and video platform like Skype (except better, I think).
